Ride the Big Red Jeeps!
Renowned for their history, Jeeps have carried soldiers into war and brought them safely back. They have carried missionaries into the deepest jungles in the world and they have carried millions of civilians far down the road less traveled. So what do you get when you combine that rich heritage with the functionality of a present-day SUV? Desert Adventures BIG RED JEEPS!
Desert Adventures operates the largest fleet of Classic Jeep Scramblers (CJ-8) in the country. From an initial fleet consisting of three used vehicles with a capacity of nine passengers, Desert Adventures has grown to operate 15 customized Jeep Scramblers with a seating capacity of 100 guests at a time.
Each Jeep carries seven (7) passengers plus a naturalist guide/driver. All vehicles are equipped with radios and First Aid gear, safety features such as roll bars and seat belts for each occupant, and can be operated as open-air vehicles or with the canvas top unfurled to provide sun protection. Every vehicle starts its day with a 15-point safety inspection and every 30 days each vehicle undergoes a thorough safety inspection and servicing.
