Join us for amazing excursion into the newest park in the National Park system.

This tour provides an in-depth overview of the diverse history of the area and the formation of the Park. Learn about the plants and animals of the high desert and witness incredible geological forces at work as you visit amazing rock formations.

Our first stop on the journey is for a short guided hike to the Desert Queen Mine, one of many gold mines located throughout the Park.

Back on board, we will venture off the paved road on our way to Barker Dam, with a short side trip to view ancient petroglyphs.

Next you will hike the Hidden Valley loop, which features a jaw-dropping photographic wonderland of majestic rock formations.

Then we're on to the spectacular Key's View Overlook, which offers a stunning viewpoint from 5,185 feet in elevation allowing you to see all the way into Mexico on a clear day.

On our return, will include a photo-op at Skull rock and, time permitting, a stop at the Park's Visitors Center.

Tour Minimums / Maximums:

• This tour has a 2 person minimum.  If you are a single traveler, please call our reservation's desk at 1-888-440-5337 ext. 1 Toll Free or 1-760-324-5337 locally to inquire about joining an existing tour or you may email us and we will get back to you within 24 hours.

Things to Bring:

• Wear closed-toe shoes with rubber soles (such as tennis shoes or hiking boots).  Sandals and shoes with high heels are not recommended.

• Wear comfortable clothing - we recommend you dress in layers as desert temperatures can change quickly.  In the cooler months (November through March), we suggest you bring a sweater or jacket. 

• Bring a hat and sunglasses and apply sunscreen before the tour.  

• Don't forget your camera or video camera - the photo opportunities are amazing!

• There is no refund for cancellations received within 48 hours of the scheduled tour departure or for no-shows unless we cancel a tour due to weather or safety issues.
