Red Jeep Testimonials from Wonderful Peeps

Wealth of knowledge

Our tour guide Donna was a wealth of knowledge about the local Indian tribe (Cahuila), the geology, and history of the area. I felt she really could have talked about all of it for a lot longer than our 3 hour tour. She even told us about a few local hikes that sound really fun and amazing.

Unbelievable Tour!

This was one of the more expensive excursions in Palm Springs, but we got more than we paid for. Our guide was exceptional. I was concerned my boys ages 9 and 12 would be bored, but they were in rapture - hanging onto every word our guide spoke. We all learned so much about this history of this amazing desert landscape.

A ride into the night

We had a marvelous time . I just wish that we could remember the guides name. He was fantastic. Very knowledgeable. He even warned me to be on the look out for the resident rattlesnake when I got too close to his favorite bush. Going through the San Andreas Fault was both eerie and beautiful at the same time.

A must do!

John was our awesome tour guide and he gave us a vast amount of knowledge/geology about the mountain rock formations of the San Andrea faults. On the “Oasis” part of the dessert tour we experienced some of the plant life that the Native Americans used for food and healing properties.

San Andreas Fault & Native American history

Our tour guide John took us on a ride in an open red Jeep to a private local ranch. He told us about the surrounding geology and the Native Americans that inhabited the area. He was very entertaining and informative. He also provided samples of native plants that the local tribes relied on to survive in the hostile environment.

Amazing Fault Tour

We had the best tour of the fault this morning with our amazing guide Morgan. She was full of knowledge about the area - from geology to Native American culture to agriculture of the area. I can't wait to come back to Palm Springs with my family and check out the other tours they offer. Definitely a must-do in Palm Springs!
