Red Jeep Tours

Coronavirus Health and Safety Policies

Throughout the outbreak of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and the uncertainty felt among many travelers, Red Jeep Tours has responded by enacting stringent new health and safety procedures to protect our guests and staff.

We also offer flexible booking and cancellation policies to enable our guests and our travel partners to adjust their travel plans as needed and to help alleviate any immediate health and safety concerns.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

The health and safety of our staff and guests is our top priority, and we have put special measures in place to keep everyone safe both during and after your tour.

  • Staff Wellness Checks – Employees receive daily wellness checks to ensure they are healthy and symptom-free upon reporting to work.
  • Guest Health Screenings – We will screen all guests for symptoms of illness (including temperature checks) before boarding the Jeep. Guests who exhibiting signs of illness, who have recently traveled to known coronavirus “hot spots”, who have been diagnosed with Covid-19, or who have had recent contact with someone with a known or suspected case of Covid-19 will not be allowed to take the tour.  In the case a tour is cancelled due to Covid-19 health and safety concerns, a gift card for the full amount paid (less any non-refundable incidental expenses paid by Red Jeep Tours on your behalf) will be issued or we will work with you to reschedule your tour to another day.
  • Hand Sanitizer – Individual hand sanitizer is provided to each guest.
  • Social Distancing – Because it is not possible to maintain a 6-foot distance between guests in the Jeeps, we are currently limiting tours to a single party (private tours only).
  • Mask Policy - As of June 15, 2021, masks are required for non-vaccinated or partially-vaccinated individuals whenever they are within 6 feet of another person (not in their household, which includes the tour guide) or when riding in the jeep or other vehicle. Masks can be removed by non-vaccinated or partially-vaccinated individuals while hiking or when out of the vehicle as long as everyone maintains at least 6-feet of physical distance between one another. Masks are not required for fully vaccinated individuals. This policy will be updated from time to time in accordance with current scientific data and CDC, State, County, and Local guidelines, regulations, mandates, or restrictions.  We ask that you bring your own mask, however we have disposable masks available for guests who do not have one.
  • Stringent Cleaning – We thoroughly clean and disinfect each vehicle (including seat belts, hand rails, seats and seat backs, ice chests, etc.) after every tour. Blankets are washed and sanitized after each use. We also clean, sanitize, and disinfect our portable restrooms and hand-washing stations regularly.

The small-group, open-air nature of our Jeep Tours makes them inherently less risky than large group tours or tours conducted in enclosed vehicles with multiple, unrelated parties.  However, despite our best efforts, we cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed to someone with the coronavirus on one of our tours.  Thus, participation in a Red Jeep Tour is at your own risk.
