Upon arrival at Metate Ranch, guests will explore spectacular steep-walled canyons on foot. See twisted and tormented landscapes, warped and bent by the powerful movement of the Earth’s crust. Learn how tectonic forces created the slanted, vertical and wave-like structures that have been described as the most tortured landscape on earth. The truly adventurous can climb from the bowls of the earth to the crest of the fault line to enjoy spectacular views of the Coachella Valley.
